Sex Offenders of the Desert

Without getting into a heated debate as to whether Sex Offenders are acting out on their sexual impulses or are purely violent in their acts, one thing seems certain: Golden Valley apparently has become a Boy’s Club for those registered with Arizona’s Sex Offenders Database. What’s going on out there fellas?
Is it the heat...is it the sand...all the Meth fumes? Or, is there an underground somewhere whereby Golden Valley has become a destination of choice for Sex Offenders relocating from other states and within Arizona?
Here’s a pictorial from the database you can get to by clicking on this sentence:

The Red shaded area is just the zip code 86413, and is comprised primarily of the south side of Highway 68 to Bullhead, another story entirely (see all the red “pins” to the left?).
A quick perusal of offenses listed seems to leave little doubt that our children have been the primary targets of most offenders, leaving us to question why anyone with children, for the sake of inexpensive housing, would potentially put their children at risk by moving to Golden Valley...or Bullhead City, for that matter.
Why has this happened? And, most important, is this the least reprehensible of solutions for these convicted Sex Offenders? Are probation offices in other parts of our State suggesting this? How many have relocated from California?
It seems too structured...too coincidental. And, too troublesome. How do the Mohave County Sheriff’s Deputies possibly stay on top of this caseload?
Too many questions, I know. Answers will be forthcoming in a subsequent issue.
